[Intellectual Property] What is the status of Fleetwood's patent dispute with CLiKAPAD sources?

Fleetwood Group, Inc. and Albert Hall Meetings Limited and ppvote Limited (AHM) have reached an amicable resolution of all of the claims and allegations asserted in their lawsuits previously pending the U.S. District Courts in Florida and Connecticut.

The settlement was the result of a compromise, and neither party admitted to any facts alleged or implied in the lawsuits. A key stipulation of the settlement is that AHM was granted a global license to Fleetwood’s audience response system patents. In addition, the parties have agreed to dismiss all areas of dispute between them.

Fleetwood and AHM will continue to manufacture and sell their respective audience response systems on a global basis. Pat Moody, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Electronics Division of Fleetwood: “We are pleased with this settlement, and we anticipate positive results for both parties emanating from the agreement.” Jeff Earl, President and CEO of Albert Hall Meetings Ltd: “At last we can move forward with Fleetwood as allies rather than adversaries, this is a great day for both companies.”
