APIs are software toolkits and system operating instructions that are available to programmers to develop software applications for Windows® operating systems that control selected Reply-brand wireless response systems.*
The API’s packaged components (such as OCXs/DLLs, call-outs, base station com handlers, etc.) that allow developers to more rapidly design an application than if they were to design at the hardware directive level and build their own system control components. The time and cost savings achieved through such an API-enabled development have proven beneficial to many organizations.
Fleetwood pioneered the open-architecture philosophy for the audience response and electronic voting industries in 1988. Since then, many companies have written effective and creative software solutions for myriad market needs (focus group research, interactive meetings, game shows, strategic planning and decision making, etc.).
